How to Calculate SSLC Kerala Percentage Using Grades

So First of all, To Calculate the percentage we have to understand how the grade works, but before that here’s a quick disclaimer


Disclaimer : This is not a Way to Calculate Exact percentage, This is the maximum percentage you can get using your grade,
Without the exact Marks, the Exact percentage can’t be calculated,


Understanding SSlc Grading System

In SSLC Exam, Each Subject is grade based on a nine-scale raging from A+- E and 9-1, with each grade corresponding to it’s grade point,

here’s a quick reference table for the grade points,

Each Grade Represents a GradePoint, For Percentage Calculation,

For instance,If you have A+ in a subject you should consider 9 Grade Point for That Subject.

Steps to Calculate Percentage

  1. List Down Your Grades : Start By Noting Down Each Grade You Got for Your Subjects, You will have to list all of your Ten subjects,
  2. Convert Your Grades to GradePoints: Now Convert The Grade Of Each Subject To It’s corresponding Grade Points, here’s the reference table,

  1. Now Add All The GradePoints You Got,
  2. Then Divide it by 90 (90 is The Maximum Grade Point You Can get)
  3. Finally Multiply it with 100
  4. Congratulations, You Found Your SSLC Percentage 🎉

The Formula For Percentage Calcualtion is

Percentage = (Your Total Grade Point/90) × 100


Here’s an exampe,

Let’s say you have the following grades:

First, convert these grades to marks:

Next, add these Grades:

8+6+7+8+7+6+2++6+9+5 = 64

Now divide it with 90

64/90 = 0.7111

Now, multiply it with 100

Percentage = 0.7111*100 = 71.11


Congratulations, The Percentage is 71.11 🎉
